Prof Chinyere Ezeaka is a member of the ANA and works at the Neonatology-Perinatology Unit of the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Nigeria.
Chinyere is a newborn advocacy champion driving policy, trainings, and quality care for newborns in Nigeria and globally. She was the lead editorial consultant for key national neonatal policy documents which have transformed the healthcare space for the Nigerian newborn – The Nigerian newborn situation analysis document (2009); the National Essential Newborn Care Course training documents (2010); the
National Kangaroo Mother Care operational guideline (2021), the National comprehensive newborn care guideline and the training manual for quality care of the Small and Sick Newborns (2021).
She is also the Nigerian Clinical Lead for the Newborn Essential Solutions and Technologies (NEST360), one of the collaborating partners of ANA.
