Prof. Ebun Adejuyigbe (Nigeria)
CHAIR OF EDUCATION COMMITTEE
Besides being chair of the A.N.A. Education committee, Ebunoluwa Aderonke Adejuyigbe is a Professor of Paediatrics and Child Health at the Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife Nigeria and a consultant Neonatologist at the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching hospital Complex (OAUTHC), Ile-Ife.
She is currently Vice-President of the African Society of Paediatric Infectious Diseases and Co-Chair of the National Child Health Technical Working Committee. She is a Consultant to the Federal Ministry of health on several childhood diseases and programs.
She is a member of various committees at international level including the UNICEF Expert Advisory Group (Survive, Thrive and Transform: Inpatient Care for Every Small and Sick Newborn), and the WHO. She is Principal Investigator of several African -based studies. She is also a recipient of the prestigious Washington DC based International Women Leadership Forum Fellowship. Her research interests include newborn disorders and infectious diseases in children. She is widely published.
